Background
UNICEF Uruguay’s digital team plays a critical role in meeting fundraising goals through digital channels. The organization is committed to sustaining growth and achieving annual fundraising targets by professionalizing and expanding its digital capabilities.
Hiring Objective
The consultant will support the digital acquisition strategy of the Fundraising area, contributing to maintaining and driving digital revenue growth. This role focuses on defining, planning, and implementing digital strategies for acquisition, maximization, and donor retention.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
General:
- Support operational and strategic needs of digital fundraising, emphasizing ROI analysis.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to present results and monitor objectives.
- Manage contractual relationships with agencies and suppliers.
Acquisition:
- Assist in planning and executing digital acquisition strategies to maximize ROI.
- Monitor monthly goals and ensure objectives are met.
- Optimize Paid Media campaigns and improve Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) in collaboration with specialists.
- Implement marketing automation strategies for donor attraction and nurturing.
- Understand the conversion funnel to propose initiatives that enhance performance.
Analytics:
- Develop and implement digital analytics strategies.
- Monitor ROI related to fundraising objectives.
- Analyze and measure campaign KPIs (ROI, CPA, CPL, CR) to optimize results.
- Prepare campaign reports with qualitative and quantitative data.
- Deliver monthly and annual reports on digital fundraising results.
Expected Products
- Regular progress reports aligned with the agreed work plan and contract deliverables.
Payment and Contract Details
- Duration: Long Term Agreement (LTA) for 24 months, extendable for an additional 12 months.
- Start Date: Estimated July 15, 2024.
- Payment: Monthly based on actual hours worked, according to the agreed work plan and products.
- Financial Proposal: Hourly rate in Uruguayan pesos (for residents) or US dollars (for non-residents), inclusive of taxes.

Required Profile
Education:
- Graduates in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Communication, Marketing, or related fields.
Required Technical Knowledge:
- Digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).
- Web management tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager).
- Advanced Excel.
- Valued: Basic HTML, CMS (WordPress, Drupal), inbound/outbound marketing, conversion funnels, automation tools.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in similar roles, planning, implementing, and monitoring digital strategies with performance objectives. Experience with A/B testing and in international or nonprofit sectors is advantageous.
Languages:
- Advanced Spanish and intermediate English proficiency.
