Under the guidance of the HR Manager, the HR Assistant supports HR services in the field office, ensuring high-quality, timely, and well-documented service delivery. Functional Responsibilities
- Implementation of HR Strategies and Procedures:
- Ensure full compliance of HR processes and records with UNOPS standards.
- Maintain HR shared folders and sub-folders, including electronic filing of correspondences.
- HR Services Implementation:
- Support recruitment processes by reviewing requests, ensuring completeness, and compliance with policies.
- Monitor and track recruitment requests, ensuring timely submission with complete documentation.
- Update and maintain recruitment system information for accurate reporting.
- Circulate vacancy announcements and upload to recruitment platforms.
- Schedule and conduct assessments and interviews, ensuring integrity and compliance.
- Respond to HR queries and requests for information on employment and recruitment status.
- HR Data Tracking and Reporting:
- Extract and input data into the HR database from various sources.
- Review supporting documentation for processing HR actions.
- Manage absence records and leave reports for resource planning.
- Maintain personnel files, ensuring completeness and confidentiality.
- Assist in preparing HR reports and correspondence; arrange meetings as needed.
- Knowledge Sharing and Capacity Building:
- Participate in training for operations and project staff on HR-related topics.
- Contribute to knowledge networks and communities of practice.
- Share learning resources and opportunities available in UNOPS Learning Zone and other UN agencies.

Education/Experience/Language Requirements
- Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent; Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HR management, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.

- Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English and Myanmar is required.
