Overview
IBTCI seeks a Technical Advisor to contribute to the development of a proposal evaluating UNICEF’s Primary Health Care (PHC) initiatives. This evaluation aims to distill insights and best practices for strengthening primary health systems from UNICEF and its partners. The assignment may require up to five (5) days of effort, extendable by mutual agreement.
Responsibilities
Scope of Work:
- Strategic Contribution: Assist in strategic decisions for the UNICEF PHC Evaluation.
- Content Collection: Gather and synthesize content from various sources into cohesive proposal segments.
- Proposal Preparation: Develop proposal content, including technical, management, staffing sections, and executive summaries.
- Review and Editing: Review and edit sections drafted by other contributors for coherence and compliance.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure final submission adheres to donor regulations and solicitation instructions.
- Other Duties: Undertake additional tasks as assigned by project leadership.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: 5-7 years in technical lead or lead writer roles for technical proposals, preferably with UNICEF exposure.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex topics and articulate findings.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail, including grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
- Proposal Experience: Previous involvement in proposals related to power and energy sectors.
- Writing Proficiency: Track record of crafting compelling, clear, and concise documents.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Google Drive.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a health field or related technical discipline required; advanced degree preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Travel: Not required.
